our mission

our mission •

At Cheeky Charity, we’re here to make a bold impact on colorectal and anal cancer prevention and early detection, especially for the LGBTQ+ and younger communities. We’re a queer-led organization with a ‘cheeky’ approach that gets people talking, learning, and taking action.

Cheeky Charity is committed to:

  • Educating on symptoms of colorectal and anal cancers, ensuring everyone knows what to watch out for.

  • Encouraging early screening for those with insurance, reminding them not to wait to get checked.

  • Advocating for those without insurance and higher-risk individuals, pushing for accessible screening options.

  • Funding research aimed at improving early detection and reducing screening costs, so more people can take action.

How We’re Making a Difference

Our Vision

We envision a world where everyone at risk for colorectal and anal cancers takes charge of their health—empowered, informed, and proactive. We want people to know their bodies, talk with their doctors, understand their medical history, and feel confident about early screening.

Our Strategy

Big brands like Coca-Cola make campaigns fun and unforgettable—why can’t cancer screening do the same? At Cheeky Charity, we create campaigns that are cheeky, vibrant, and impossible to ignore. With our attention-grabbing approach, we aim to make colorectal cancer awareness the catchiest reminder out there—so catchy you’ll feel compelled to get screened.

Values

Equality: Every life matters, and we’re committed to creating positive change for all, regardless of identity, background, or circumstance.

Fun: We believe meaningful impact doesn’t have to be serious all the time—by bringing joy to our work, we make awareness engaging and lasting.

Inclusivity: Everyone is welcome here, however they show up. Our movement embraces and celebrates every identity, voice, and body.

Empowerment: We aim to equip everyone, especially LGBTQ+ communities, with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take control of their health and advocate for others.

Authenticity: We believe in being real, transparent, and genuine in our mission and interactions. There’s no room for stigma or shame here—just honest conversations and meaningful impact.

Join us in flipping the script on cancer prevention—because life’s too short to miss a chance at saving lives and having some fun along the way.
